Definitely yes. The city’s luxury market has been growing, especially near the coast and around Çeşme. Luxury real estate in Izmir includes sea-view penthouses, designer villas with pools, and high-rise condos with smart home systems. My cousin recently bought a seafront duplex in Narlıdere for around €500K — it had marble floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, a large terrace, and smart tech throughout. There are also resort-style homes in Urla and Çeşme for those who want more privacy. What I noticed is that Izmir luxury properties tend to be more spacious and better-priced than those in Istanbul. If you want upscale without the big city chaos, it’s a great alternative.
